Dentures and partials
Replacing several teeth with a full denture or a partial denture.
A full denture replaces all the teeth on the top or bottom. A partial denture replaces some and rests on the teeth you keep. The dentist explains which suits you and how many appointments it will take.

What happens at the visit
It usually takes three to five appointments over several weeks, plus adjustment visits.
- 01
Step 1: We talk and check
We talk about what you want and check your mouth and the teeth you keep.
- 02
Step 2: We take measurements
Impressions and bite measurements are taken so the denture is made to fit you.
- 03
Step 3: We try the denture
You try it on before it is finished, and we make changes.
- 04
Step 4: We hand it over and adjust
We show you how to put it in, take it out and care for it. Adjustments are part of the process.
Comfort, alternatives and aftercare
Comfort
A new denture feels strange for the first few days. If an area rubs, come in and we adjust it.
Alternatives
Besides a full or removable partial denture, there are other options, such as implants. If you want to consider them, we tell you who to see.
Care and risks
At first some areas may be irritated. The dentist tells you how to clean it every day and when to take it out. If an area gets sore, call us.
How it is billed
You get the cost in writing before we start. We never quote a price by text or phone before the dentist has seen your case.
How fees work
Questions
Can I eat anything with a denture?
At first it helps to start with soft foods. The dentist tells you when you can go back to your usual diet.
Do you fix a broken or loose denture?
Call us and tell us what happened. We tell you what can be done and how many appointments it may take.
How often should my denture be checked?
The dentist recommends how often, because the mouth changes over time and the denture may need an adjustment.
